Arts Incubator’s first ‘Incubating project’ with ENSEMBLE MISE-EN

***** WHAT IS THE INCUBATING PROJECT?

In December 2017, Arts Incubator (http://artsincubator.kr/) launches its first Incubating Project with New York’s contemporary music collective ENSEMBLE MISE-EN. The Incubating Project is an experimental platform for diversifying and activating new music, giving an opportunity for various artists to collaborate and develop their works.

We will select composers and sound artists from an open call. Selected artists will participate in the ‘Incubating Program’ with ENSEMBLE MISE-EN for four days in Seoul. Each artist is expected to deliver a new piece for 6 instruments (flute, clarinet, piano, violin, cello and percussion) before the first week of December.

***** WHERE AND WHEN THE EVENT WILL HELD?

All events will be held on December 19th-22th, 2017 at ‘Post Territory Ujeongguk’ (http://ujeongguk.com/), a multicultural venue in Seoul, South Korea. Artists who participate in the program will also have free access for every event presented by Arts Incubator in December.

BUT THE PROGRAM HAS A PARTICIPATION FEE:

HOUSING INCLUDED (SHARED ROOM) $1,500
HOUSING NOT INCLUDED $1,300
